About Me
Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Carly Kline, and I recently graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. As a writer, actor, director, and comedian living in Brooklyn, NY, I live life to the fullest.
From Yinz to Y’all, my journey has taken me from Pittsburgh to Charlotte to New York City. Growing up in the suburbs of North Carolina was amazing and beautiful, but I knew I needed something different as soon as I entered fourth grade. When I visited NYC for my ninth birthday, I knew I needed to see those skyscrapers, feel the pavement under my feet, and have unlimited public transportation for the rest of my life.
My passion is mainly in television/sketch writing and acting while dabbling in filmmaking. Simply, I just love telling stories that are enriched with comedy. My dream is to be a showrunner and star of my own show! Other interests and skills of mine include songwriting, singing, golf, and improv. I am a frequent sketch performer at The Peoples Improv Theatre (The Pit). I have also completed three levels of improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade.
